UUPlan Love Sign Immigration JusticeThe Arc of Justice

"I do not pretend to understand the moral universe; the arc is a long one, my eye reaches but little ways. And from what I see, I am sure it bends towards justice." -Theodore Parker, Unitarian minister

We advocate for key issues in our state through our work with UUPLAN - Unitarian Universalist Pennsylvania Legislative Advocacy Network. The network includes over 6,000 UUs in 40 congregations. On Sunday mornings after services, we have a table set up with the latest information on the most pressing issues. There you can learn more, sign petitions, and get connected with other UUs who share your social justice passions. An important part of advocacy is gaining a deeper understanding of the issues. We have liasions in our congregation who help us study, advocate, and work together in these areas:

Immigration Justice: Tonya Wenger and Pat Uribe- Lichty

Anti-Mass Incarceration:
Economic Justice:
Environmental Justice:
Gun Violence Prevention:
LGBTQ Justice:
Reproductive Justice:

You may self-study these issues using the resources provided by the Unitarian Universalist Association, or contact the liasion for the issue most dear to you and get involved!
