Share the Plate

The First UU Church seeks opportunities to build a world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all. Each month, we designate one Plate Collection to an organization working on issues that reflect our UU values and principles. The beneficiaries of these offerings are recommended by church members and decided by a vote of the church membership during bi-annual Congregational Meetings. Organizations selected are generally centered in the Greater Reading and Berks County area and established 501(c)(3)'s.

Members are encouraged to offer suggestions for upcoming ballots by contacting Bernice Hines at 484-269-8002 or email hines.bernice@gmail.com.
