Food Pantry

On the first Thursday of every month, volunteers from our church distribute food and household articles to persons and families in need. The food is distributed from the church building at 416 Franklin Street in downtown Reading, Pennsylvania.

The food pantry is open to all with a need from 10 a.m. to Noon. The volunteer coordinator is Liz Eshelman.

The church is part of the Greater Berks Food Bank system. Volunteers from the church pick up, stack and distribute the food. Church members and others interested in helping may stop by to see the food bank in operation and learn how to volunteer or make donations.

Contributions are often needed for special personal items, such as toothpastes and brushes, cleaning products, etc.
