The Unitarian Universalist Church of Berks County is seeking an Office Administrator to manage the operation of the church office, including administrative, financial, facilities and communications functions. This diverse and fast-paced position includes managing the membership database, serving as payroll liaison, bookkeeping duties, coordinating grocery scrip and generating the weekly electronic news blast, among other functions.
Skills needed include administrative experience, proficiency in electronic communications, the ability to multi-task and prioritize, a warm, flexible and professional manner and QuickBooks experience. The position reports to the Minister and works most closely with the Board, Treasurer, Membership and Pledge Committees.
It is year-round, 25 hours per week and includes salary, vacation, holidays, an allocation toward the UUA health plan, as needed, and pension after 1000 hours. The work schedule is flexible and includes one to two Sunday mornings a month.
